The 2027 Best Law Firms™ – Canada rankings were released yesterday, and we’re proud to once again be recognized and is based on a research process that draws on feedback from lawyers and clients, along with information about firms and their practices.
For us, though, the announcement is also an opportunity to think about what that recognition looks like in practice. Over the years, our firm has grown alongside our clients and the legal needs that come with different stages of life and business.
A business owner may first come to us for a transaction and return years later for employment, real estate or succession advice. A family may know us through one matter and find they need different legal expertise as circumstances change. An organization we advise in one area may discover expertise elsewhere in the firm that becomes relevant as the organization grows. That breadth is part of who we’ve become.
What we know for sure is that legal needs rarely stand still.
